| December 22, 2006 Hi! My name is Marcie Catherine Lucia, I'm 11 years old and I'm going to 'Show and Tell' you all about a cruiser's life. It's very fun. I've seen dolphins, sea turtles, all sorts of fish and starfish and found lots of shells and extra fun people; and you couldn't believe how cool it is to watch pods of twenty or so dolphins follow the boat while we're sailing. It's also fun to hold the little birds (finches) that fly to the boat. At the moment it is around Christmas time, the only bad thing is it doesn't snow. Well actually, it never did snow anyway. You see, we used to live in Florida but now it doesn't get cold unless we're further North. My dad asked me to tell you "How do you feel living on a boat???" Well that's hard to explain and I'll tell you why: there's a million things that are so cool. Yes there's lots of changes on the boat, but there's also really neat things about it. You meet lots of fun people and they have funny stories to tell. We go on lots of cool trails and at the end there's normally a beach or field that you can play on. There's lots of people that don't understand how much stuff we have to do to keep the boat running. They're so many people that walk up to me and ask me where I live and I say "I live on a boat"; and their first response is "Wow, that is so cool! I wish I could live on a boat." But don't get me wrong, it's very fun living on a boat, there's just a lot of stuff to do. Fun activities on land: Life at sea:
